My Epic account was compromised and I cannot access it

If you are unable to log in to your Epic account and suspect your account was compromised, you can do the following:

  • Reset your email password and your Epic Account password.
  • If you have a linked external account (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Facebook, Google, etc.), you can try to log in to your Epic account using the credentials of your external account.
    • Reset the password once you've logged in.
    • If, you cannot log in, but you have access to the email address currently associated to Epic Games, visit this article.
  • If you've lost access to the email address currently associated with your Epic account, we recommend contacting your email service provider to try to recover access. Once you do it, make sure to secure it by using unique passwords and enabling 2FA for your email.
